Xin Nian Kuaile!

Hi everybody, First of all, we would like to wish you (again) a Happy Chinese New Year! It is this year the year of the rat (or mouse)!
During this chinese NY holidays, we went to Australia for 10 days. We first spent a few days in Sydney meeting friends (Emma and Daniel, Olga and Dirk-Maarten) and family (Andries' sister and cousin) and also strolled around the city visiting Sydney Harbour, the Opera House, the Royal Botanical Garden, the Rock area and Bondi beach. Coming from Shanghai, Sydney appeared to us as VERY quiet, peaceful and green.
After a few days, we flew to the North-East to the Whitsundays Islands for a couple of days sailing. We spent these days snorkling, canoeing, swimming, eating and sleeping...very relaxing! We had the chance to see all sort of corals, fish, turtles, sharks, sting-ray, etc.
Afterward, we spent a few days on the coast driving around to visit the countryside.
We then went back to Sydney for a few more days to spend some more time with friends and family before coming back to cold Shanghai.

We hope you are all fine,
Cheers,
Charlotte & Andries

Bise

Charlotte & Andries
